Another week has gone by and here we are - another Rachael Ray Roundup. I got no comments about the new name last week, so I am going to assume that everyone loves it! Here are the posts I tracked down from the blogosphere this week about Rachael Ray and her recipes:
- Cate at Sweetnicks (check out her cool new design, if you haven't already) made one of my favorites lately, Bacon Bit Burgers with Smoked Gouda and Steakhouse Smothered Onions. She had the great idea of using pancetta instead of the bacon. Great, now I have to make them again!
- SmileyCarrie made the recipes from the Dinner for Mom episode of 30-Minute Meals with outstanding results. And don't her pictures look great? She made Elsa's Jumbo Shrimp with Sage and Pancetta, Mom's Potato Watercress Salad, and "Eat Your Vegetables!": Green Bean Salad with Red Onion and Tomato . Carrie also agrees that the Thai Steak Salad is killer.
- Over at Paper Palate, Jaay gives us the details on Rachael Ray's tips for entertaining from Every Day with Rachael Ray.
- The Domestic Goddess is not really a Rachael Ray fan in general, but is a fan of her magazines and recipes. She tried one I have been eyeing for awhile - the Chicken, Biscuits & Gravy Casserole, which was featured in the Menu Planner section of Every Day with Rachael Ray. The results were "a hit with everyone."
- Volterra had some great results with Rachael's Grilled Chipotle Shrimp with Fire-Roasted Gazpacho. I like the idea of marinating the shrimp for longer, if you have the time.
- Erin at Foodalicious tweaked Rachael Ray's Pasta al Forno to make her own dish, which she named Pasta al Fontenot.
I have to try those bacon bit burgers... I've decided its on my list for Friday night's dinner. They look sooo yummy!!
ReplyDeleteBe careful - they are addictive! Although, I think you are already addicted to RR recipes, so it may be too late for you.....
