Vote Early and Vote Often

Rachael Ray's 365: No Repeats has been nominated for the second annual Quill Awards, which are sponsored by Reed Business Information and NBC. Put simply, the Quill Awards are like the People's Choice Awards, but for books. According to MSNBC, the Quills were established to:

  • Celebrate excellence in writing and publishing
  • Recognize and praise the writers & illustrators of wonderful books and great literature
  • Interest more consumers in acquiring books and reading
  • Act as a bellwether for literacy initiatives

Rachael is nominated in the Cooking category along with Heat by Bill Buford, Julie and Julia by Julie Powell, My Life in France by Julia Child, and Silver Spoon by Phaidon Press Editors. And don't vote for Julie Powell because she was mean to food bloggers. On October 10, the awards will be presented and a broadcast of the awards show will occur on NBC on October 28. The last day for voting is September 30, so go vote!
