The awards show will air on 100 of NBC's stations on October 28th. Rachael's award will be presented by restauranteur Todd English. The Conneticut Post reports that the awards show included performances by "American Idol's Fantasia, Comedian Lewis Black and the Tony Award-winning cast of Broadway's "Avenue Q." Celebrity presenters included Anderson Cooper, Donald Trump, Stanley Tucci, Harry Connick, Jr., Dominick Dunne, James Patterson, Judy Blume, Suzanne Somers, Rhea Perlman, Dana Delany, and Daniel Handler (aka Lemony Snicket)."
The way the article described the show (with many people leaving and applause being limited to a polite level only), it doesn't sound like a ratings hit. Plus, Rachael didn't attend the awards show. It's like they are trying to make me not watch it.
My show is airing on Wednesday. I'm the one with the glasses in the taped part and the one on Rachael's right during the studio part!
