Rachael Ray Nominated for Media Person of the Year

Here's another opportunity to stuff the ballot box! Page Six reports that Rachael Ray is nominated for the 2006 Media Person of the Year award by IwantMedia.com.

There are ten candidates who were nominated by the readers of the site, including: "Dean Baquet, the ousted editor of the Los Angeles Times; Stephen Colbert, the 'new' Jon Stewart; Katie Couric, the first solo female network evening news anchor; Tom Freston, the booted-but-beloved ex-CEO of Viacom; Arianna Huffington, the liberal blog queen; Chad Hurley, the CEO of YouTube and 'new-media demigod and Rachael Ray, the 'new' Oprah and latest multimedia star."

Previous winners include "CNN golden boy Anderson Cooper, who followed 'fake' newsman Jon Stewart, who was preceded by Bonnie Fuller in 2003 and Martha Stewart in 2002."

So, go here and vote for Rachael Ray. Now!
