This Week on Rachael Ray's Talk Show

Here are the highlights from Rachael Ray's talk show this week. For the recipes from this week's shows, check out the shopping list and the recipe archive. The recipes are listed by category in the order they appear on the show.

This week's shows are all reruns, but they are being aired in a different order than before. The show's website also includes tons more information for each show, including videos and the snack of the day. They really are doing a top-notch job of providing all the information that people want about the show. Kudos to them!

Monday: Family Dinner Night. Rachael shows how to create a wonderful dinner experience for a family that never eats together. She also gives unique gift ideas and provides a test to check who your "real girlfriends" are. On the menu is Spaghetti & Meatball Stoup, Chicken & Potatoes in the Oven, and Strawberry Misu. The snack of the day is crispy chocolate chip cookies from Tate's Bake Shop. So excited that information is available now, because I couldn't remember where they came from and I love crispy cookies!

Tuesday: Jessica Simpson's Surprise. Jessica Simpson stops by the show and surprises a fan who says Jessica helped her when she was sick as a child. Jessica and Rachael prepare Pretzel-Crusted Chicken Breasts with Cheddar Mustard Sauce and Crunchy Veggie Salad with Sweet Honey Dressing. Also on this episode are space saving tips for around the house. The Snack of the Day is Dean's Beans Milk Chocolate Java Drops.

Wednesday: Dr. Phil's One-Pot Meal. Dr. Phil shows Rachael how to make a one-pot meal, then Rachael shows him how to make BBQ Chicken 1-Pot Pie. Rachael chats about Fashion Week and helps a man decide what to do with his hair. The Snack of the Day is Snyder's Jalapeño Cheddar Pumpernickel Pretzel Sandwiches.

Thursday: Celebrity Open House. This episode aired really recently (on December 20). Kathie Lee Gifford stops by for a holiday edition of "Stump the Rach." Jewel provides romantic gift ideas and Evette Rios provides holiday decorating tips. Rachael also discusses charitable gifts and prepares Oven-Roasted Cioppino, Deviled Ham Dip, and Roasted Garlic Ricotta Dip. The Snack of the Day is Bourbon Truffles from Old Kentucky Candies.

Friday: Wild Animals. Look's like its wild animal day. Also, Rachael gives advice what to keep on hand in your pantry to be ready to host a party and makes a comfort food meal of Sausage and 3-cheese Mac and Cheese. The Snack of the Day is Cabernet Chocolate Cherries from Chukar Cherries.

  1. Ugh, I can't stand Jessica Simpson...but some of those recipes sound great!

  2. I like her ever since the Newlyweds reality show on MTV. She was so funny! I keep saying I am going to try that pretzel crusted chicken. Must motivate....
