New Dunkin' Donuts Commercial

I feel so out of the loop with Rachael's Dunkin' Donuts campaign, since we don't have the chain out here in California. I even checked where the closest one is and it's Arizona. So, until I feel the need for a road trip, YouTube clips are going to have to do the trick.

Here's the most recent ad in the campaign:

I think I like this one better than the last one (even though it was cute, too). It's still got the fun, upbeat, cheerful vibe, but tells a little story. Since I've never seen any DD ads before this, I have nothing to really compare it to. If you've seen previous Dunkin' Donuts ads, how does this campaign compare?

  1. She is adorable and I love the commercial, but I wish it was a cup of REGULAR Dunkin Donuts coffee that she sips at the end and not one of those stupid coffee "milkshakes".

  2. I feel so sorry for you in CA not having any Dunkin' Donuts eateries in your state. The first ad I remember seeing shows a DD location and a guy mopping the floor there, having trouble with some skid marks on the floor. Lo and behold, a familiar pair of feet land at the end of the skid marks, the camera pans up, and it's RR. She orders her usual(iced coffee, IIRC?), acknowledges the new guy after asking the counterman("Hi, new guy.)and then she speeds off. That was the first one I remember seeing. The second one I recall was the one with the Secret Service types spotting RR feigning a yawn and racing out for several of her usual. I hope that helps you Californians.

  3. It looked like an iced coffee to me, not a blended drink. They launched to promote stuff with Rachael.

  4. Jeff - the one in this clip is the Secret Service-y one. I posted the other one, which we Californians can view by clicking on the Video link in my left sidebar and scrolling down to find it.

Hey, we might not have Dunkin' Donuts, but we do have all that sunshine!

  5. Road trip to Arizona? Dunkin Donuts and your Dear Dad and brother, a twofer (of threefer).

    Uncle Stephen

  6. The search brought back ones that aren't in Tucson, but I just checked and there are some there! Next time I go, I know what's on my list of things to do!
