Rachael Ray on Forbes Celebrity 100 List Again

Rachael Ray returns to Forbes' Celebrity 100 list this year at number 66 (she was at 88 last year). To generate the list, Forbes "analyzes celebrity earnings, plus media metrics like Google hits, press mentions as compiled by Lexis/Nexis, TV/radio mentions from Factiva and the number of times an A-lister appears on the cover of 32 major consumer magazines." In the entry about Rachael, Forbes says she makes $16 million a year, has a web rank of 68, a press rank of 71 and a TV rank of 25.

Here's what Forbes had to say about Rach:

Television's perky chef reached far beyond the kitchen this year, following the empire-building blueprint of her mentor Oprah. Her new daytime talk show has landed tough gets like Bill Clinton and Michael J. Fox, and she presides over a bimonthly magazine. Ray also boasts endorsement deals with Nabisco and Dunkin' Donuts, and maintains top billing on the Food Network.

As for other chefs on the list: Bobby Flay comes in at #100 ($2 million), Paula Deen is at #99 ($4 million), Wolfgang Puck is at #88 ($13 million), and Emeril is at #87 ($9 million). Not surprisingly, Rachael's buddy Oprah holds the number one spot.

  2. Hi Uncle Stephen - yes, on Friday! But there's nothing too exciting to report.
