This Week on Rachael Ray's Talk Show

Here are the highlights from Rachael Ray's talk show this week. For the recipes from this week's show, check out the shopping list and the recipe archive. The recipes are listed by category in the order they appear on the show.

Monday: First Ever Make Under (Repeat). Rachael and Gretta try to convince a woman to tone down her look and Harriette Cole (a life coach) tries to mediate a mother/daughter dispute. We get a basic tutorial on cooking eggs. We also get an update on the resolution of the Thanksgiving dinner feud between a woman and her mother-in-law. Bacon, Potato, Leek & Crab Chowder is what's for dinner and the Snack of the Day is Laceys Cookies from Desserts on Us.

Tuesday: First Mystery Taster (Repeat). Morgan Freeman joins Rachael as her first Mystery Taster on this episode. He talks about his cookbook, Morgan Freeman and Friends: Caribbean Cooking for a Cause. Get tips on how to keep your laundry wrinkle free and how to decorate a table using items from the dollar store. Apple Cider Chicken (check out my review of this recipe) and Chicken Liver Spread with the Works are what's for dinner. See's Candies are the snack of the day.

Wednesday: Bobby Flay (Repeat). After a little boy says "men don't cook," Bobby Flay steps in to teach him a lesson. We also get to learn three things you can do to keep your child safe from bullies and we get to hear Lisa Rinna’s backstage stories (I assume from the Dancing with the Stars tour). Finally, Rachael gives us budget-friendly makeup secrets. Sausage, Mushroom & Polenta Lasagna, Grandpa's Garlic Shrimp & Bread, and Chocolate Pudding are what's for dinner. Black and White Popcorn from The Hampton Popcorn Company is the snack of the day.

Thursday: Surviving the First Year of Divorce (Repeat). In this episode, Lance Armstrong's ex-wife visits to talk about how to deal with the first year of a divorce and how to move forward. Rachael shares fake eyelashes tips and introduces an inspiring band that includes autistic kids. And, it looks like Potluck Thursday is back. Pasta e Fagioli: Pasta & Beans and Hoppin' John Soup with Rice is what's for dinner.

Friday: Joan Lunden and Gabrielle Union (Repeat). Joan Lunden offers tips on taking your kids to the dentist and on how to balance career and family. Learn skin care secrets and see a machine that will show you what you will look like in 10 years. This episode also features Gabrielle Union, who talks about dating and her new film, Daddy's Little Girl. Cheesy Stuffed Chicken Meatballs, Bacon & Cheese-Stuffed Chicken Meatball Heroes, and Ladybug Pizzas are what's for dinner. Moose Munch Popcorn from Harry & David is the snack of the day (I love that stuff!).
