Rachael Ray Roundup

Since you know I'm all about supporting local Sacramento reastaurants, I have to tell Sacramento area ERR readers about an event on Monday, July 16, at Mulvaney's Building & Loan. It is throwing a barbecue featuring American Lamb prepared by guest Chef Tim Love, aka "The Cowboy Chef." Chef Patrick Mulvaney has created a menu of appetizers, side dishes, and dessert and Trefethen Family Vineyards will provide wine pairings. It's open to the public and costs $45 per person. You can contact Melinda McRae to make reservations at 916-492-5331 or e-mail her. If you're on the fence, check out Ann's review of the restaurant over at Sacatomato.

Here are the Rachael Ray posts from around the blogosphere this week. If you see a post that you think would be good for the Roundup, or you write one yourself, e-mail me so I can be sure to include it.

  • Katie Ryan O'Connor of ice cream is not for breakfast recommends Rachael's recipe for White Pizza.
  • Boomnation has a picture of Rachael Ray going to her appearance on Good Morning America.
  • The South Boston Enterprise tells us about the effect of an endorsement by Rachael Ray on one local business.
  • A Socialite's Life has a two more cards from the Shoebox cards line featuring Rachael Ray.
  • Celebrity Body Watch says the rumors about Rachael Ray gaining weight in this week's National Enquirer are untrue. This post shows the striking difference between the picture used by the Enquirer and a picture from the red carpet.
  • Glamour Magazine's Suze on Style asks whether your style is more Rachael Ray or more Martha Stewart. People were choosing Rachael Ray more than Martha when I checked it out.
