This Week on Rachael Ray's Talk Show

Only two new episodes this week, but that's better than nothing! Here are the highlights from Rachael Ray's talk show this week. For the recipes from this week's shows, check out the shopping list and the recipe archive. The recipes are listed by category in the order they appear on the show.

Monday: Kid Travel Horror Stories. Learn practical advice for how to travel with kids. Also, learn how to chop and how to make a burger that will please both people and doggies - Turkey Club Burgers.

Tuesday: Robin McGraw's Beauty Secrets (Repeat). Dr. Phil's wife Robin shares her beauty secrets for women over 50 and talks about a new high-tech machine she swears by. She also discusses how to incorporate ingredients you have at home into your beauty regimen. We also get tips on finding a swimsuit that fits and see an audience swimsuit makeover, thanks to Gretta. Provencal Tuna Melt and Shrimp Cocktail Salad Rolls are what's for dinner. The snack of the day is Sandunes from Hope, Faith and Gluttony.

Wednesday: Meal Makeover. A viewer challenges Rachael to turn her five-hour stuffing recipe into a 30-minute meal. Rachael also hosts the show's first couples challenge to see how much couples really know about each other. Rachael also shares her ideas on what you should and shouldn't spend your money on in the kitchen.

Thursday: Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Repeat). Rachael has an expert on to talk about when you should spy on your kids and when you shouldn't. Jeffrey Dean Morgan stops by to chat with Rachael and she reveals the brand new American Girl doll. BBQ Bacon Burgers with Fire-Roasted Corn on the Cob are what's for dinner (I'll have two, please). Chocolate Fudge Covered Peanut Butter Pretzel Sandwiches from Synder's of Hanover are the snack of the day.

Friday: Kenny Loggins (Repeat). This one is among my all time favorite episodes. Man, I just love Kenny Loggins. In this episode, we meet a woman who tries to control her family and Life Coach Harriette Cole tries to help her out. Kenny Loggins stops by for a private performance and Rachael has some fun calling a few viewers. Turkey Patty Melt with Honey Apple Radish Slaw is what's for dinner. The snack of the day is Stacy's Parmesan Garlic & Herb Pita Chips.

  1. I watched most of the 7/25/07 episode, and thought Rachael and her hubby John were so affectionate toward each other, especially at the top of the show, when they kissed. Anyone who thinks their marriage is in the toilet has either 1)an overactive imagination or 2)a horrid sense of humor.

  2. I keep reminding myself that gossip columns are trying to sell copies (or get hits), not trying to tell us all the truth!
