More Hamptons House News

Well, those rumors that Rachael Ray is in talks to buy a house in Hamptons have reemerged with a vengance. Now, even the Wall Street Journal is reporting the story, complete with a slideshow. There aren't any pictures there that weren't included in the listing.

The WSJ reports that the house was listed at 2.9 million and Rachael is in talks to purchase it. Her realtor says that no contract has been signed and declined to offer further comment. Apparently, Rach and her husband John Cusimano have been renting a home in the Hamptons this summer (she previously said they went there on vacation).

Here's how the property is described:

The 6.2-acre property borders two golf courses and includes a pond and several gardens. Built in 1976, the European villa-style main house has three bedrooms, three baths and a pool. The property also includes a separate two-bedroom guest cottage with a kitchen and sauna and another cottage with a bathroom. Tim Haftel, of Prudential Douglas Elliman, has the listing.

Sounds a bit more certain this time, especially if the WSJ is reporting it. Oh, and People couldn't pass it up either!

  1. I dunno...The kitchen looks too small.

  2. My theory is that that is the guest house kitchen.

  3. I do hope she buys it- I want her to learn how to relax and get some R&R- and what better place to do it- Buy it Rach-
