Travel Maps from Every Day with Rachael Ray

You know, Rachael Ray's restaurant suggestions have never let me down. Hard to believe, but true. You can check out my reviews of her recommendations in my Travel section. Now, we have a whole new resource to find places to try while traveling - Mapped Out from Every Day with Rachael Ray.

Mapped Out includes more than just the places featured in the Travel section of Rachael's magazine. You can search by destination or by state and find the places featured, plus lodging, shopping and activities tips. The places recommended are all listed on easy to read Google maps and many destinations feature a slideshow of the pictures from the magazine feature. You just click on the little icon to learn more about each spot.

The Mapped Out feature is also interactive. Using the X Marks the Spot page, you can submit your own favorite places and they may (or may not) be added to the map. There is also a page with all the destinations on one map. There are easy to print maps that you can take with you, so no more excuses for going to a big chain restaurant - try something new!

  1. Anytime I go away I check the Food Network site for her $40 a day recommendations. And then I take photos of the restaurant. So lame. Her recommendation for a seafood restaurant in Monterey was awesome. My husband thought it was so good, he didn't even care that my family was making fun of us for doing the Rachel Ray tour.

  2. You are not alone - I consider testing her picks to be an essential part of any vacation! You can check out some of my reviews during my travels here (just scroll down a little to the posts that say "Seeing ____ the Rachael Ray way).

  3. I run a local search website and just added all of Rachael's suggestions from $40 a day to our site and dedicated a separate page/map for just her suggestions. If your interested check it out here.

  4. This is a very useful and informative site, most especially for those who loves traveling and eating out. Good job.
