Rachael Ray Roundup

Looks like folks are getting into the comfort food mood, if this week's posts are any indication. My mac and cheese from last week certainly fit the bill, but I think I'll switch to soup for this weekend. I'm always looking for the next best recipe, so leave me a comment if there's a Rachael Ray soup you've tried that you think is worth recommending!

Here are the Rachael Ray posts from around the blogosphere this week. If you see a post that you think would be good for the Roundup, or you write one yourself, e-mail me so I can be sure to include it.

  • Sarah of Brood recreated a Shepherd's Pie she had in a neighborhood pub by combining Rachael Ray's recipe with one from the Joy of Cooking.
  • The Asbury Park Press highlights a recipe by Rachael Ray for no-boil pasta.
  • Javagirlkt's Cookin' features exactly the kind of thing that I bet Rachael Ray loves to see - a recipe inspired by Rachael's technique but using personalized ingredients. This time it's Pasta with Sauce with Ground Chicken.
  • Mike at TV Food Fan informs us that you can bid on an apron signed by Rachael Ray as part of a Food Network Charity auction.
  • Cate at Sweetnicks tried Corn Chowder with great comfort food results (despite an objection to RR calling it Choup, as in chowder-soup).
  • Abra at Scarlet Lillies gives her seal of approval to Rachael Ray's Spicy Bloody Mary Burgers.
  • According to Hey You! Let's Go Shopping, Rachael Ray's 10-inch nonstick skillet is a good buy.
  • Restaurant Girl informs us that Rachael Ray will be attending the 25th Anniversary party for City Harvest, an NYC food rescue organization.
  • Jonathan at Wasted Food discusses Rachael's food saving bottom-of-the-jar recipes.
  • Tickets to the South Beach Wine and Food Festival's Amstel Burger Bash, hosted by Rachael Ray, have already sold out.
