Rachael Ray Roundup

What a week! Is anyone else exhausted? If you live in NYC, I hope you're not too tired to head out to Rachael Ray's appearance tomorrow (and free lattes should be a good motivator). I'm looking forward to flopping down on the couch and reading my new Rachael Ray magazine from cover to cover.

Here are some Rachael Ray posts from around the blogosphere this week. If you see a post that you think would be good for the Roundup, or you write one yourself, e-mail me so I can be sure to include it.
  • Now Maudie, there's no need to be embarrassed that you used Rachael Ray recipes for your Thanksgiving dinner, especially if it turned out well!
  • Rachael Ray's new cookbook, Just in Time, is till number 2 on the New York Times Bestseller list.
  • Neal Pollack of the epi-log had to come to terms with the fact that Rachael Ray's stuffing was good and the fact that he was the only one at the table who wasn't a fan.
  • Cate at Sweetnicks made good use of her Thanksgiving leftovers with Thanksgiving Stromboli from the Rachael Ray Show.
  • Indycar.com informs us that Dancing with the Stars champions Julianne Hough and Helio Castroneves taped a performance on Rachael Ray's talk show that will air on December 4.
  • Keith at LA Cityzine doesn't get why Rachael Ray is a celebrity. I think asking that question about Paris Hilton is much more appropriate. Try one of Rachael's recipes, Keith - maybe then you'll get it.
  • Bob Sassone at Slashfood tells you how to create your own Rachael Ray cartoon doll. It's pretty funny - you can dress her up in different outfits.
  • The Fun Times Guide discusses how Rachael Ray makes cooking fun.

  1. When did you get your magazine? I used to buy them at the store until I finally subscribed a couple of months ago. First they sent me two issues that I already had :( but I shared them with a friend. Now I have seen the new issue at stores for 2 weeks, but haven't received mine. I know you were a subscriber from the start, so I was wondering what your experience has been?

  2. OMG! The doll is too funny. I wonder if anyone lets her know about things like that?

  3. Yup, I got mine at least a couple week ago, which seemed early.

I'm sure she knows about that doll - her PR folks don't mess around!

  4. I can just see the tabloid headlines now..."Helio dumps dance partner for Rachael. Her hubby infuriated."

  5. Hee hee. And it would say that John gets nothing in the divorce. That's the new one. Glad we can laugh about it!

  6. You're right...Keith from L.A. Cityzine is a crank. He must think Johnny Rocket's puts out haute cuisine.
