Rachael Ray Roundup

It was only a matter a time. I got my first cold of the winter. Really, I think I deserved it since I was picking on my husband for getting sick twice in a two week period (the speech consisted mostly of my depracation of his ability to maintain a strong immune system - I won't bore you with the details). So, my meals lately have consisted mostly of canned soup and saltines.

However, I think I'm on the rebound, so I'm going to go back into my archives for some chicken soup favorites. Maybe Chicken and Dumpling Soup? Roasted Garlic and Butternut Squash Soup? Any suggestions for me?

Here are some Rachael Ray posts from around the blogosphere this week. If you see a post that you think would be good for the Roundup, or you write one yourself, e-mail me so I can be sure to include it.

  • One of the participants in the Human Lab segment on Rachael Ray's talk show tells her story.
  • K at the misadventures of miss k tried out one of Rachael's Nabisco recipes - Red Pepper Pesto Dip from the back of the Wheat Thins box.
  • Cate of Sweetnicks made a rare OMG recipe. It's Scallops Bonne Femme from a recent episode of 30 Minute Meals.
  • This Northwest Herald article makes it seem pretty darn easy to be a guest on Rachael Ray's talk show.
  • Lynette of The Fun Times Guide has an alternative to a garbage bowl. I think Rachael Ray would approve!
  • Celebrity Dog Watcher shares a page from Us Weekly with Rachael, John, and Isaboo.
  • Karen Haram of the San Antonio Express-News likes Rachael Ray's garbage bowl idea.
  • Vera at I'm Not Obsessed has pictures from Rachael Ray's Las Vegas book signing appearance.

  2. Thanks, Meadow. I checked out your posts and noticed that you don't use Rachael's name in them. If you use her name, it will usually show up in my Google Alerts, which is how I collect posts for the Roundup. Or you could email me a link and I can find it that way!
