The page looks exactly like the regular one for Rachael's new book, Just in Time, except the title is World War Z: The Zombie War and maybe the price is different. If you run a search for Just in Time, this is what you get:

It even shows up with the wrong title in the search results list. What do you think - funny computer glitch or someone out there earning creativity points?
Still like that when I just checked it out! Crazy. Did you e-mail Amazon.com websupport? I'd be interested to find out what happened.
ReplyDeleteI had this book in my cart from yesterday, and was about to check out when I noticed the title! I freaked thinking someone hacked my shopping cart. But it's wrong all over the site. I emailed Amazon, but no reply.
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious! Should I be afraid? Am I going to wake up to recipes for "30 minute brains tomorrow?
ReplyDeleteLeigh - I just emailed them, so we'll see what happens!
ReplyDeleteLisa - I bet her folks will be mighty angry because I bet a bunch of people didn't purchase it for the same reason.
Erin - yes, be afraid, be very afraid.
Funny! But I hope that was the only part of Amazon hacked. Know what I mean?
ReplyDeleteGood point, Sarah! It certainly does not instill confidence.
ReplyDeleteWell, I ended up buying it at my local grocery store instead.
ReplyDeleteThen Amazon should be upset that they lost a sale!
