Rachael Ray Roundup

Getting back in the swing of things around here!  Our son is one month old and such a cute little thing!  I'm back to cooking, although don't tell anyone that I'm cooking with a baby wrapped to my front.  Hey, you gotta do what you gotta do.  ;)

Here are some Rachael Ray posts from around the blogosphere this week. If you see a post that you think would be good for the Roundup, or you write one yourself, e-mail me at everythingrachaelray at gmail dot com.

  • Rachael Ray hosted another Burger Bash and Bobby Flay won!
  • Taste and Tell Saturdays with Rachael Ray features another recipe I added to my list of recipes to try - Pasta with Squash, Brown Butter and Rosemary.
  • Lindsay of Eat, Think, and Be Married adapted Rachael Ray's recipe for Pasta Abruzzese.
  • Rachael Ray stopped by a Philly restaurant.
  • Kim at Zen Kitchen thinks Rachael's Ratatouille with Poached Eggs and Garlic Croutons was one of the best things she has eaten in a long time. Gotta try that now.
  • Heather Diapers and Divas adapted Rachael's recipe for Lemon Curry Tilapia.

Rachael Ray's talk show will be in 3D for Halloween on Friday.  You can get 3D glasses for the big event from the October 25 issue of TV Guide.  Pee Wee Herman and Penn and Teller will perform special 3D bits for the show.  Should be interesting, huh?

Rachael Ray Roundup

Friday, October 08, 2010

We are back in the swing of things here in the Miller household with a new baby boy!  He's adorable and perfect (well, except for the no sleeping at night thing, but perfect other than that).  I can't wait to get back in the kitchen to start cooking again.  Since I am nursing about every two hours and said nursing takes about an hour, I really only have a 1 hour chunk at a time to pick recipes, check the pantry, make a list, convince my husband to go to the store, and cook dinner.  Wish me luck.

Dave Letterman Apologizes to Rachael Ray

Wednesday, October 06, 2010

Oh, Dave.  He got himself in trouble again.  E! Online informs us that when Rachael recently appeared on his show, Dave went on a rant about the amount of food programming on TV while other people are starving. Now, Rach of all people is a bad person to aim this at, since she not only talks the talk, but walks the walk against hunger with her Yum-o! Organization and her work for food banks all over the place. Anyway, Dave figured out the error of his ways. Check out his apology:
